Multiprens Standard Chrome Winch Bar is used in conjunction with our winches to tighten and secure winch straps, cables, chain binders and lever type chain binders. Only our combination winch bars should be used to tighten chain binders.
Insert the Multiprens Standard Chrome Winch Bar into the end cap. With the leverage gained from the Winch Bar, rotate the mandrel until strap is tightened. We recommend using any of our durable straps and winches in conjunction with our winch bars. Webbing can be 2″, 3″ or 4″.
While the chrome coating will deter corrosion, we recommend keeping our winch bars clean and dry when able to ensure longevity. All Multiprens winch bars are manufactured to meet or exceed all standards of the US Department of Transportation (DOT), California Highway Patrol (CHP), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Web Sling and Tie Down Association (WSTDA), Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) and California Highway Patrol (CHP). Never over tighten straps, cables or chains.

Inspect each winch, chain binder and/or winch bar for defects before each use. Do not use if defective; do not repair; immediately remove from service.
Never extend or alter the winch bar. Keep both feet flat on the ground during use.
This product is used entirely at the user’s own risk and the use of this product demonstrates understanding of the risks. Position the body out of the rotation path in case of winch bar slippage.
During tightening and before releasing the tie down assembly, the winch pawl must be checked for correct engagement.
When using a winch bar with optional chain binder cradle with chain binders, chain binder handle must be fully inserted and securely locked in winch bar cradle. Failure to properly secure chain binder handle in winch bar cradle may cause damage or failure of the winch bar or chain binder, leading to serious personal injury or death.
Winch bar point must be inserted through both holes in winch cap during use.
