Our 2″ 10K Twisted Snap Hook (512) is constructed from flat steel pieces. They are designed to keep the strap from twisting. A twisted strap can weaken its original working load limit. Made from heat-treated alloy steel, twisted snap hooks can be used along with winches or ratchet buckles.
